Sony has released a trailer showcasing the Red Bull X1 Prototype, a fantasy car that’s been collaboratively designed by Polyphony Digital and Red Bull Racing for Gran Turismo 5.
The Red Bull X1 has been designed to specifications that make it the fastest racing car on the planet (according to the trailer) with 1,438 brake horsepower through 15,000 revs per minute, and 3,000cc twin injected twin turbo engines that provide a top speed of 249mph.
Now, we don’t want to split hairs, but technically the Bugatti Veyron can outdo that with a top speed of just under 268mph. Nonetheless, the X1 looks mighty impressive and surely clocks in at a pretty formidable 0-100mph time.
