Following yesterday's US delay for Gran Turismo 5, Sony has now announced a similar delay for Europe that will push back the release date from November 3rd.
As with the US delay, Sony is yet to offer a revised launch date for the game, although it is assuring gamers over on the European PlayStation blog that GT5 will still arrive before Christmas.
Meanwhile, GT5's Producer, Kazunori Yamauchi has publicly apologised for the delay via Twitter. "Apologies for the delay. It's because time and labour were spent ironing the kinks out of [the game's] complex system. I'm really sorry. Everyone, it's inexcusable... Wait a little longer," he said according to a Kotaku translation.
He's obviously being pretty hard on himself, so perhaps we should cut the poor guy some slack. The game should still be filling Christmas stockings this year anyway, and we'd certainly prefer a kink-less experience when it does.
